Garlic Herb Cheese Bread
Ingredients:
For the Garlic Herb Butter:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried basil)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For the Bread:
1 French baguette or Italian loaf, sliced into 1-inch thick slices
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter:
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese.
Prepare the Bread:
Slice the French baguette or Italian loaf into 1-inch thick slices.
Spread the garlic herb butter generously onto each slice of bread.
Bake the Bread:
Arrange the buttered bread slices on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Serve the garlic herb cheese bread warm.
