This recipe is for beef stew with mushrooms. 

1 red onion, diced
Oil, three tablespoons
8 ounces baby bella mushrooms, diced
Worcestershire sauce, a tablespoon or more
1 bay leaf 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder and 1 ½ teaspoons each sugar (1 ½ teaspoons each
One tablespoon mushroom powder, one tablespoon dried thyme, and one tablespoon onion powder
Half a cup of pepper, finely chopped
Two cups worth of beef broth
A mixture of two tablespoons of corn and two tablespoons of water

Slow Cooker Instructions:
All ingredients except corn should be in slow cooker, combine with two cups beef broth.
Cook on high for three to four hours or on low for five to seven hours.
3. Thirty minutes before the cooking time is up, mix half a cup of water from the slow cooker with the cornstarch and press until smooth. Add the corn mixture to the slow cooker and cook for another hour.
4. Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding water if necessary. After seasoning with salt and pepper, serve the meal with any side you wish.

1. In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except corn with one-half cup of beef broth.
2. Cook the food on high for thirty-five minutes while selecting the meat/soup setting.
3. Allow the pressure to relax naturally for ten to fifteen minutes.
When the pan boils, switch to “saute” mode, mix the corn with two tablespoons of water and add it to the pan immediately.
5. Let the sauce simmer for a minute or two while stirring.

6. Use water to adjust the consistency of the sauce.
7. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve as a side dish of your choice.
