For the Crust:

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (such as Oreos, finely crushed)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

For the Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

For the Chocolate Ganache:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream


  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are fully coated.
    • Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan.
    • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  2. Prepare the Peanut Butter Filling:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
    • Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
    • Spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the chilled crust.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream.
    • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
    • Let the ganache cool slightly before pouring it over the peanut butter filling.
  4. Assemble the Tart:
    • Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
    • Refrigerate the tart for at least 2 hours, or until the ganache is set.
  5. Serve:
    • Slice and serve chilled.
    • Optionally, garnish with additional chocolate shavings or a drizzle of melted peanut butter for an extra touch.
