Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1 glass of butter, light
1 glass of white sugar
1 full glass of brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoons of hot water
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation:
Start by gathering your ingredients. Make sure your butter is light and your eggs are at room temperature so you can mix them easily.
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Mixing butter and sugar:
In a large bowl, beat light butter, white sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until smooth and well combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla:
Beat in the eggs one at a time and mix well before adding the next one. Stir in vanilla extract. Dissolve
Baking Soda: Dissolve
Baking Soda in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Add this mixture to your dough and salt.
Add the dry ingredients:
Gradually add the flour until everything is combined. Be careful not to overdo it.
Add chocolate chips and walnuts:
Add chocolate chips and chopped walnuts and mix until well dispersed in the bread crumbs.
Tins and loaves:
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking tray lined with baking paper, about 2 inches apart. The space allows the cookies to spread during baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the edges are crispy.
Cooling: Allow
cookies to cool on parchment paper for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
To store or make:
Store cooled cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh, or serve immediately while still warm and delicious.
