Breaded Chicken Breast with Creamy Garlic Sauce



For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Olive oil or vegetable oil for frying

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs mixed with 2 tablespoons of water, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess. Dip into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  2. Fry the Chicken:
    • In a large skillet, heat about 1/4 inch of oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. You may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
    • Transfer the browned chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet and finish cooking in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  3. Prepare the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
    • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
    • Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Simmer gently until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve:
    • Remove the chicken breasts from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken breasts and arrange on a serving platter.
    • Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
