  • 4 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seeds removed
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


  1. Prepare the Watermelon:
    • Cut the watermelon into cubes, removing any seeds. Place the watermelon cubes into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Puree the Watermelon:
    • Use an immersion blender to blend the watermelon cubes until smooth. You can also use a regular blender if you don’t have an immersion blender.
  3. Mix with Sweetened Condensed Milk:
    • Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the pureed watermelon. Add the vanilla extract and whisk until well combined.
  4. Add Chocolate Chips:
    • Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Freeze the Mixture:
    • Pour the mixture into a loaf pan or a freezer-safe container, spreading it out evenly.
    • Cover with plastic wrap or an airtight lid and place it in the freezer.
  6. Freeze until Firm:
    • Freeze the mixture for at least 4-6 hours, or until firm. For best results, freeze overnight.
  7. Serve:
    • Once frozen, scoop the watermelon ice cream into bowls or cones and serve immediately. Garnish with additional chocolate chips if desired.
