How to Make Salmon Patties
ADVERTISEMENT
- Drain the salmon well and place it in a large bowl. Flake with a fork and remove any large bones if desired.
- Add eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, mustard, seasonings, and parsley. Mix gently until combined.
- Shape the salmon mixture into 6–8 evenly sized patties. Let them rest for about 10 minutes so they hold together better.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side until crisp and deep golden brown.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and serve warm.
Serving & Storage
Serve crispy salmon patties with tartar sauce, remoulade, lemon wedges, coleslaw, or roasted vegetables. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Recipe Tip
Drain the salmon thoroughly and avoid overmixing. This helps the patties hold their shape while keeping the centers moist and tender.
