In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, 1 cup flour, and yeast. Pour in the hot water and beat well at medium speed for 2 minutes. Gradually mix in the rest of the flour until you have a smooth dough (it will be a little sticky, but that’s okay!).
Knead the dough lightly and divide it into 6-8 pieces. Place in a greased bowl and make sure the top is well oiled. Then let it ferment in a warm environment until it doubles in size (2 hours). While you’re waiting, take another glass and mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. It’s time to beat the dust! Roll out your dough and roll into an 18×10 square, brush with melted butter, leaving about 1/4 inch around the edges, and sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Starting from the long edge, roll the dough like a jelly roll and seal it. Divide it into 12 pieces and place them in a greased 13×9 pan. Cover it with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).
Preheat your oven to 350°. Bake the rolls until crisp and brown (15-20 minutes). Let them cool slightly.
Meanwhile, whip the cream by whisking together the icing sugar, butter, vanilla and enough milk until you have a smooth, creamy consistency. Spray some heavenly paint on your hot tub and dig in!
