This Moist Strawberry Milkshake Pound Cake is a soft, buttery homemade dessert with sweet strawberry swirls and a creamy milkshake-style glaze. It is rich, tender, and perfect for sharing with family, guests, or anyone who loves strawberry desserts.

Ingredients

For the Pound Cake

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

For the Strawberry Swirl

  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam or thick strawberry reduction
  • 1 drop pink food coloring, optional

For the Glaze and Topping

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons heavy cream or whole milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan very well.

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Mix in the sour cream or Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the flour and mix just until combined.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Spoon the strawberry jam over the batter and gently swirl it with a knife. Add the remaining batter on top and swirl lightly again.

Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

For the glaze, whisk the powdered sugar with heavy cream or milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake and sprinkle crushed cookies on top.
