Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Chops



  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


  1. Prepare the Pork Chops:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Sear the Pork Chops:
    • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
    • Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Glaze:
    • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Add the honey, soy sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.
    • If you prefer a thicker glaze, add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
  4. Bake the Pork Chops:
    • Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the glaze over the top.
    • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Finish and Serve:
    • Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork chops rest for a few minutes.
    • Spoon additional glaze over the pork chops before serving.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  6. Enjoy:
    • Serve the honey garlic glazed pork chops with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
