Gourmet Cheese Beef Drumstick




1 large baguette

1 pound ribeye steak, finely chopped


2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 green  pepper, chopped

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

U salt and black pepper to taste


8 slices protolon cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon horseradish

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce




Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Heat 1 tablespoon  olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add  steak slices and fry until brown. Remove and set aside.

Add the remaining olive oil, onion, pepper and garlic in the same way. Cook until the vegetables are done. Add salt and pepper.

Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. Pull it up and down a little to make room for the filling.


In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, horseradish and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture on both sides of the bread.

Place the chicken, cooked vegetables and protolon cheese on the last half of the bread. Place the first piece of  bread on top.

Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is cooked.

Slice and serve hot.
