I make this recipe often and everyone always raves about the casserole.

As an avid home cook and food lover, Crescent Rolls Cheesecake Casserole is one of my absolute favorite recipes. This heirloom recipe is a crowd-pleaser because it combines rich cheesecake filling with the delicate, buttery layers of crescent-shaped muffin batter. It is simply divine.

I still remember my first encounter with this casserole at my grandmother’s. When I was a child, the smell of freshly baked rolls wafting in the air was a sure sign that a culinary treat was about to occur.The first bite was a revelation: the creamy cheesecake harmonized with the puff pastry. Cheesecake Crescent Casserole Recipe:



2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/ 4 cups unsalted butter, melted


1/4 cup granulated sugar, for garnish

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease one 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Roll out a can of muffin dough into a crescent shape, press it against the bottom of the pan and seal the seams.In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the dough.

Place the second layer of dough on top and seal the edges.
Drizzle with melted butter. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the butter.Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
