Cinnamon Sugar Cheesecake Bars

 

 

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Crust:
    • Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form an even layer.
    • Pinch the seams together to seal.
  3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup of granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and creamy.
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the layer of crescent roll dough in the baking dish.
  4. Top the Cheesecake Filling:
    • Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese filling, pinching the seams together to seal.
  5. Add the Topping:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
    • Pour the mixture evenly over the top layer of crescent roll dough.
  6. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheesecake filling is set.
    • Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing.
  7. Serve:
    • Once chilled, slice into bars and serve.
