Air Fried Sweet Chili Garlic Petals


For the wings:
2 pounds chicken wings, diced and tips removed
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray
Chili Garlic to taste:
1/4 cup fresh chili sauce
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of honey
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce (optional, for heat)
Sesame seeds for decoration
Chopped green onions for decoration


Air preheat:
Preheat your front grill at 200°C for 5 minutes.
Prepare the wings:
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season with salt and pepper.
Preparing the air fryer:
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent wings from sticking.
Cook the wings:
Place the spicy wings in the air basket in a single layer, being careful not to touch each other during cooking.
Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking, until golden brown. Depending on the size of your movie you may need to do this in parts. Prepare a delicious pepper-garlic sauce: Prepare the sauce while the wings are cooking. In a small saucepan, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sriracha (if using).
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Saucing the wings:
After the wings are cooked, place them in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the sweet chili-garlic sauce over the wings and stir until completely coated.
Decorate and serve:
Place the wings on a serving plate.
Grind the sesame seeds and finely chop the green onion as a garnish.
Make hot wings and enjoy!
