Cookies and Cream Frappe

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream (for a richer taste)
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), plus more for garnish
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • Crushed cookies, for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Coffee:
    • Brew your coffee strong as it will be diluted with ice and other ingredients. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Blend the Frappe:
    • In a blender, combine the chilled coffee, milk or cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and chocolate sandwich cookies. Add about 1 cup of ice cubes, or enough to achieve your desired consistency.
    • Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Drink:
    • Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of a large glass to create a marbled effect.
    • Pour the blended coffee mixture into the glass.
  4. Add Toppings:
    • Generously top with whipped cream.
    • Sprinkle crushed cookies over the whipped cream.
    • Garnish with a whole cookie and additional drizzles of chocolate syrup if desired.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy the burst of coffee and sweet cookie flavors.

  • Coffee: For an extra coffee kick, add a shot of espresso.
  • Cookie Varieties: Experiment with different types of cookies for various flavors. Consider using peanut butter cookies or mint chocolate cookies for a twist.
  • Dairy-Free Version: Use almond, soy, or oat milk instead of regular milk and dairy-free whipped cream.
