Strawberry Chia Overnight Oats

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1-2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Additional strawberries for topping

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, Greek yogurt, diced strawberries, chia seeds, honey, and vanilla extract.
    • Stir well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly mixed.
  2. Transfer to Jars:
    • Divide the mixture into mason jars or any airtight containers.
  3. Refrigerate:
    • Cover the jars and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours. This allows the oats to soften and the chia seeds to absorb the liquid, creating a pudding-like consistency.
  4. Serve:
    • In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
    • Top with additional fresh strawberries before serving.
