Peach Crescent Roll-Ups

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches, drained
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg (if using).
  4. Assemble the Roll-Ups:
    • Place a slice of peach at the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
    • Sprinkle a little of the brown sugar mixture over the peach slice.
    • Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end and tucking the edges to seal the peach inside.
    • Place each roll-up in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Add the Topping:
    • Brush the tops of the roll-ups with melted butter.
    • Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top.
    • Drizzle with vanilla extract.
  6. Bake the Roll-Ups:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve:
    • Allow the peach crescent roll-ups to cool slightly before serving.
    • Enjoy them warm, either plain or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
