“Golden Spice Baked Chicken Drumsticks”

 

Ingredients:

  • 10 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Marinade:
    • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade.
  3. Marinate:
    • Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or for better flavor, cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
  4. Bake the Chicken:
    • Arrange the marinated drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  5. Serve:
    • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
    • Garnish with freshly chopped herbs.
    • Serve hot, ideally with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
