Apple Whiskey Glazed Chicken Wings

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Kinders Whiskey Apple seasoning (or your favorite apple-flavored seasoning)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Apple Whiskey Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple whiskey
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Season the Wings:
    • In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, Kinders Whiskey Apple seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
    • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
  3. Bake the Wings:
    • Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
  4. Prepare the Apple Whiskey Glaze:
    • While the wings are baking, combine the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple whiskey, apple juice, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic in a small saucepan.
    • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    • If you prefer a thicker glaze, stir in the cornstarch mixture and continue to simmer until the glaze thickens to your desired consistency.
  5. Glaze the Wings:
    • Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.
    • Pour the apple whiskey glaze over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the Apple Whiskey Glazed Chicken Wings hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
